Working With Animals

Ever since completing my training in craniosacral therapy in 2007, my work has brought me into contact with animals.

Clients have brought their animals to me for craniosacral therapy or I have arranged a home visit.

I have often observed the readiness with which animals respond to my ‘grounded’ and ‘present’ attitude that I adopt when I am with clients – both animal and human.

My training in animal craniosacral therapy and also animal communication (www.trust-technique.com)  enable me to be aware of an animal’s sensitivity to my presence and to my touch and I allow plenty of time to let the animal relax and become accustomed to the experience of my approach. A number of sessions are often required for this to take place.

A little dog traumatised  from an incident involving physical abuse gradually became more relaxed and more confident with people and began to walk about less stiffly………

A border collie was described by her mistress as regaining her youthful vigour and became able to jump up and show affectionate behaviour as her arthitic condition began to become less dominant and troublesome…….

PLEASE NOTE THAT I ALWAYS ENSURE THAT THE ANIMAL’S VETERINARY SURGEON IS INFORMED BY THE OWNER THAT A COURSE OF CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY HAS BEEN REQUESTED – THIS IS A LEGAL REQUIREMENT.
